The Lipah Jukung Race 2024 is an annual cultural event held by the fishermen community in Amed, a village on the east side of Bali that has become a hidden gem for travellers. This event takes place every August 17 in celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day and features a race of 60 traditional fishing boats that have been transformed into wind sailing boats.

JA+ Creative recognized the opportunity to collaborate with Corona Indonesia, which shares a mission to preserve local culture and promote a sustainable environment. Our role in this project was to facilitate the partnership between Corona Indonesia and the event committee, aiming to enhance the event’s visibility among both local and international tourists in Bali. The event successfully attracted around 2,000 visitors, and in the process, Corona gained recognition in an area that had not previously been included in the company’s distribution map.
